Wyzant (Chicago, IL) - Social Media Manager, 9/2016 - 9/2017

I managed social media content creation, monthly budget, paid campaign strategy, and community moderation for company channels. I conducted regular audits of engagement, spend, competitors, and trends to influence evolving strategy and determine relevant opportunities. I worked alongside creative team to ideate content and assist in direction of photography, graphic design, and videography.

In a 1-year timespan, I grew fans on Facebook by 31.5% (when compared to the previous year) using a mix of both organic and paid strategy. I grew engagements by 318.8%, with shares resulting in 39% of the total engagements. In a 1-year timespan, I grew fans on LinkedIn by 13.6% (when compared to the year prior) using a primarily organic strategy. I grew engagements by 629.5%, with link clicks, comments, and shares resulting in 66% of the total engagements.

Social Media Beast (Chicago, IL) - Content Strategist, 6/2014 - 3/2015

I generated and edited social media marketing content (paid and organic) for a core group of clients that included Medieval Times and Navy Pier. I grew the Medieval Times - Chicago Facebook follower base by 60% in under a year. I worked regularly with clients to develop timely content, walk through analytics, and rework their strategic approach around relevant goals as needed.

StudyBlue, Inc. (Madison, WI) - Community Manager, 10/2011 - 5/2014

I moderated a forum hosted through GetSatisfaction, in addition to social channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest). I developed customer-facing copy for the blog and FAQ pages. I managed customer service efforts and project managed a redesign of the company Help Center, which included the implementation of ZenDesk along with updates to 30+ preexisting help pages.
